The Valerie Fund Children’s Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders at The Children’s Hospital of New Jersey uses a multidisciplinary approach to provide comprehensive care for children and young adults with cancer.
The Center provides medical and psycho-social care at the time of diagnosis, during treatment, and throughout long-term care after the end of treatment.
Board-certified pediatric hematology and oncology physicians complemented by specialized pediatric oncology nurses, oncology nurse practitioners, social workers and Child Life specialists provide individualized care to all our patients.
The Valerie Fund Children's Center is also home to the Sickle Cell Anemia Center, one of nine state-designated sickle cell programs, and The Comprehensive Hemophilia Treatment Center, one of only a few state-designated centers in New Jersey providing care to both pediatric and adult patients with inherited bleeding and clotting disorders.
